These levels are intended to be a consecutive 3-year journey for students to learn and grow in their understanding and practice of Christian leadership. Each level builds on the previous culminating with a graduation at the completion of Level III. Students that complete all 3 levels qualify to receive a scholarship from the following Church of God schools: Mid America Christian University, Warner University, and Anderson University.

LEVEL I

Level 1: Christ-Centered Character

The objective for this level is to challenge students to be(come) fully devoted followers of Jesus. One of the foundational principles for student leadership is that leaders should first be disciples. Jesus did not call people to be leaders but to be his disciples (Matt. 28: 18-20). The following topics will be examined in this level:

  • Leadership Jesus Style (Attitudes of Spiritual Leadership)
  • Integrity of a Leader
  • Accountability of a Leader
  • Kingdom Leadership Principles
LEVEL II

Level 2: Spiritual Leadership Self-Discovery

The objective for this level is to help students discover the type of leader God has created and called them to be(come). This is accomplished through four self-assessments and opportunities for students to discuss these results with their peers and adult coaches. The following topics will be examined in this level:

  • Spiritual Gifts
  • Leadership Style
  • Leadership Abilities
  • Leadership Wiring
LEVEL III

Level 3: Understanding and Practicing Spiritual Habits

The objective for this level is to educate students on the essential spiritual habits of a growing Christ-follower and leader. Students will have the opportunity to practice these habits both individually and in community. The following topics will be examined in this level:

  • Share Your Story
  • Studying Scripture
  • Fasting
  • Prayer
  • Living Your Story
