In October of 2008, the following Church of God (Anderson) schools adopted a policy regarding scholarships for SLI’s (Student Leadership Institutes). In 2020, Ohio Christian University agreed to offer a scholarship as well. For graduating from an SLi a student can qualify for a scholarship from any of the following schools. To apply for this scholarship indicate verbally and in writing, during the admissions process, that you are a 3SLi graduate and the school will verify this with Indiana Ministries. The scholarship amounts for each school are listed below.

Anderson University

While firmly rooted in the traditions and history of the Church of God, the university has made significant advances in its almost 100 years, progressing from a Bible training school to a full-fledged liberal arts college and finally to a university offering more than 60 undergraduate majors, as well as graduate programs in business, music, nursing, and theology. Today about 2,500 students call Anderson University home. Our students come from almost every state and 22 nations, and represent about 71 religious denominations.

Mid America Christian University

Mid-America Christian University (MACU) is a private, Christian liberal arts college that’s experiencing unprecedented growth. In the last four years alone, MACU has grown from 909 students to over 2,400! The reason for this rapid growth is simple: Mid-America offers life-transforming associate’s, bachelor’s and master’s programs that will expand your employment and ministry opportunities.

Mid-America was established originally as South Texas Bible Institute (STBI), Houston, Texas, September 14, 1953, by Dr. Max R. Gaulke. In 1983, without sufficient room for expansion at the Houston location, it was determined that the college should be relocated to Oklahoma City. May 9, 1984, ground was broken for the new campus, and the new campus dedication occurred September 5-8, 1985. In recognition of the relocation, the college was renamed: Mid-America Bible College.

Warner University

Founded as Warner Southern College in 1968 by Church of God pastors and laity, the institution became known as Warner University in 2008. The first freshman class of just 27 students entered in the fall of 1968. But now, Warner bustles with over 1,077 students from over 30 states and 20 countries, all dedicated to learning in a vibrant Christian community. Our West campus has grown from two buildings to ten, including the new 49,000-square-foot Darby Academic Building.

Warner consists of three schools: School of Ministry, Arts & Sciences; School of Business; and the School of Education. The undergraduate program includes over 25 liberal arts and professional majors. We also offer three graduate level programs designed for working professionals: Master of Business Administration, Master of Arts in Education, and Master of Science in Management.
